Hi guys, Stella here!

There weather is getting a lot nicer and I've been really having a fierce time. On Sunday it got 70 degrees. I haven't panted in at least 5 months! To be quite frank, i love the sun but i don't miss the panting part. We got to stomp around the wild streets at Saturday Market with Grandpa Charlie and Gramma Jan and i barked and waved at all the dogs we saw. My mom told the owners of the dogs that i was just waving and not being aggressive but we all know what i would do to those dogs if i had the chance, "sniff butts!" I really like to do this thing where i slide into a dogs face with my butt and then quickly twist around. Its just my quick way of saying "we cool, smell my butt". On Saint Patrick's day i went to the beach with my pets and cousins. It was amazing!!! Me and my cousins just love the feeling of sand between our toes. As soon as we get out there we race around as fast as we can playing chase. We are careful though not to touch the water because we hate being wet. The only problem i find at the beach is that there is no grass and i do NOT pee on dirt or sand for that matter. So, i discovered seaweed! Its big enough of a plant that when stumbled upon it i know i can squat and go to the bathroom. My pets and bystanders seem to think this is funny(I just dont get it). Anyways, i was tuckered out after the beach getaway and i slept all the way home in my car seat and didn't even say a word. Besides that everything is going good except i really don't like Alfredo's guitar. A few weeks ago he set it against the wall in the kitchen and it fell!!! It was really terrifying and now i just hate the damn thing. Every time i walk into the kitchen i have to walk cautiously and peep around the corner slowly to make sure it is not there. If Alfredo is holding it...."Alfredo, i hope you hear this" I will not go near him. Its not that i don't trust him but why would i trust a big wooden thing that makes loud and sudden noises. Now that I'm on the topic of Alfredo, the other day he got up in the morning and went poo as usual. I tried scratching on the bathroom door and he wouldn't let me in. Next he came out and payed no attention to me and just went onto the patio to smoke. My pet mom found me sitting in the corner in the kitchen because i did not want to move because Alfredo hurt my feelers. Ok , well thanks for letting me vent. My pet mom always tells me we have the BEST LIFE EVER.....i think we do too.

A Brussels Griffon's New Years resolution

Stella would like to start by saying "Happy New Year Friends". This year Stella will be turning 4 years old which she says will be great because 4 is the new 20's and the 20's are nothing but a party! Because she has no thumbs she cant type this blog.....so, she asked me to blog a few things in regards to her New Year's Resolution. Being Stellaluna's pet, I had a few suggestions. 1) No more barking at the kids on the porch 2)Chill out on the licking problem. Stella did not approve of my suggestions at all. She told me that kids on the porch have bikes and bikes have wheels which are of the devil. "Oh" i responded, sarcasticly "how horrible is it that wheels spin around and round, that must be really troubling Bean!" (Bean, is one of her nicknames that she responds to very well i might add) She then explained the issue of the wheels themselves being circular and how circles can not ever rest. She said even when they look like they are going to be still they can also move and for this reason wheels can never be trusted. As far as the licking goes she told me that she could not live without the texture of cool skin on her tongue or the fabric of the couch or your jeans. It does something to her she can't explain. I didn't want to push the envelope with this one so i just dropped it. So, what are her New Year's resolution' you ask? Well, first she would like to stop "waving" at other dogs while on walkies. When Stella was a baby she learned to wave to dogs and their pets. Stella knows that it has gotten out of hand because when she waves she is standing on her hind legs and barking, in addition, her eyes are "buggin". The problem is that although Stella just wants to play with the dogs and their pets , they think she is trying to attack them. I know she is vicious right?! It's a rough reality but she says she needs to be more approachable so she can have more friends. For now on in Twenty Ten Stella will try her hardest to sit and wait so that she may sniff butts and have further friendly conversations with her kind. Her second resolution is to stop her desperate yelping while in her car seat because she knows it is distracting to me. She says it's hard not too yelp because the front seat is so much more interesting because she likes the view above the steering wheel lot's more. I explained to her it's simply not safe because of the airbag and it also makes it harder for me to drive safely. She promises to sit in her car seat quietly like a good girl but only for the exchange of a nice "bully stick" to chew on while on a drive. I accept the request and agree to give her this tasty treat while in her seat. Lastly, i have one resolution that involves Stella and my joint effort. As Stella's pet i commit to brush her teeth 3 days a week to help her have a healthy smile and good dog breath. We are hoping by keeping good oral hygiene she will avoid a cleaning and dental work for years to come. In conclusion Stella promises to be the crazy "wolf man's baby" that she is and the fastest runner at the dog park. She promises to first "flirt" with and then eat every carrot she is given and beg for apples anytime a human is eating one. Sitting on the couch on her butt with perfect posture will also be a daily practice as well as barking at anyone that walks by the house to let us know people are near our den. Furthermore, she would like anyone that is a "Stella fan" to come on over and hang out anytime but, Alfredo is her favorite boyfreind. Happy new year to all of our peeps!

Stellaluna is a mystical creature from planet WEIRdo! She has a licking problem and will lick ya till there is a lil bit of foam under her bottom lip which is basically an upwards down milk mustache. She is a creeper and sits all over the house and stares out into space or perhaps stares at you when your not looking...straight creepy!! She follows me everywhere i go and sits in a car seat in the car. When a dog or person passes by she barks and thrashes against the window and barks like a wild banshee! It would cause me to get into a car accident except that she is strapped in tight to the car seat. Of course in the back seat so she is not near the airbag. I protect my Griffon!!! She "raises the roof" because she is black of course. She plays dead when i "bang bang" at her and howls like a wolf when i ask her what a wolf says. She looks like many different things but i think she looks most like an alpaca. It is strange though because on different days she resembles different things just depending on her hair. She hates loud noises and loud people and scary things. When i say scary I'm talking about the table, a random lamp, the trashcan, a curtain, heater, or teddy bear. What actually scared her the most was a blanket laying over the top of the couch with a portrait of my parents embroidered into it. She really thought someone had broken into the house! Thank you Stella. She snores louder than any person i know which is probably the reason i still am not in a relationship. hahahahah.
